A new year with new goals

After a dark period during 2nd phase of covid 19, everyone starts their new journey with more effort in their field. At that time I was in the 5th semester of electrical engineering at the government polytechnic, it was finally time for offline exams but I didn't prepare, because of online classes during covid but I cover my syllabus within January.

After struggling I was prepared for my exam to maintain a good CGPA in my class. the exam ends in late February my excitement on its peak so I started watching web series and movies. My vacation was on top of my mind but I had disquietness about future plans.

NOTHING WILL WORK UNLESS YOU DO πŸ˜‡

This quote made a deep impact on my mind and then I started preparing for my uksee exam.✨

what is the UKSEE exam?

The Uttarakhand technical university conducts the Uttarakhand state entrance exam (UKSEE). it is a state-level examination held for Lateral entry for BTech, Mtech, Mca etc.

you can check more about the UKSEE exam.

For admission in 2nd year of Btech, you will require the addition of a diploma certificate in any branch.

preparing for UKSEE by a polytechnic student is a grateful opportunity 🀩

Preparing for UKSEE

That time was in my 6semester of electrical engineering parallelly I was preparing for my uksee exam to get into a government college in CSE or IT branch. I was managing a proper schedule for my college as well as preparation. In the month of May, I gave my final semester and totally focus on my study. on 14 July, I get a admit card for my exam, and on the 18th of July evening, I completed the exam.

on the 25th of July, the result was declared and I got a 138th rank all over the state. It's an outcome of my preparation for the exam. In the month of August, college counseling was scheduled.πŸ˜„

How do I get college and CSE branch

After two weeks of patience, I got a counseling result and I get a computer science branch. I am belonging a lower-middle-class family so it's a delightful moment for me and my family πŸ₯³

Apart from joy, I was in little bit quail, because of my branch, I changed from electrical to CSE. How do I cover my 1st-year syllabus? , All my mates ahead of me how I compete with them? lots of insequerisity and questions in my mind πŸ˜₯ but I only believe in :::

changing a habit is never difficult, difficult is to address to do itπŸš€

Grief and pleasure came together in my life

This time was very difficult for me and my family, I had to relocate to college approx 400km far it was hard to time for me. I had never been away from my family before but I had to relocate for my Btech college in Pithoragarh, Uttrakhand.

Grief and pleasure came together in my life. on one hand, I was sad to leave home and another hand I was happy to go to a new place because Pithoragarh is a very beautiful place just like heaven.🍁

why Pithoragarh is heaven?

Beginning of my tech career

This is the time to learn and explore new things in the tech world. I made new friends in college and learned with friends. I participated in lots of events and programs in college.

I was heartily interested in web development so I started exploring Html and CSS and learning development in my starting career parallelly I had to cover up the syllabus. apart from it, I learned JAVA + DSA. πŸ’»

Why did I choose web development?

Why did I learn java?

Why did I learn DSA?

How do I get NCC?

In my college in the month of November, the national cadet cops (NCC) program was held by the Indian army. so I am interested in the Indian armed forces then I gave an entrance test written and physical for NCC and luckily I got selected for Uttrakhand's largest and strongest Batallion 80 UK Batallion, Pithoragarh. Finally, I am a part of the Kumaon regiment of NCC.

This is a proud moment for me I didn't expect I able or not for NCC but I did .πŸ₯Ί

NCC believes in UNITY AND DISCIPLINE.πŸŽ–

In month of December

2022 comes to end, I learned a lot from my mistake and achieve valuable moments and pride in my life. whole year teaches me how to suffer in this busy world, consistency is the key to success.

This year I achieved my goals, made new friends, explore the basics of the tech world, and got pride from the Indian army.

Year's end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us πŸ’Œ

New goals for a new year

It's exciting and maybe a little bit scary, but it's true 2023 is here we tell ourselves, strictly speaking, goals are the object of ambition or effort. our lives are not centered around one axis. we are complex beings, reflecting on the personal professional, emotional and spiritual areas of our life.

I have some highlighted goals for 2023, hope I will achieve::

πŸ”° I will keep maintaining my CGPA

πŸ”° Explore the open-source community

πŸ”° I will gain tech knowledge

πŸ”° Get a good internship

πŸ”° Making lots of projects

πŸ”° To be a pro in web development

πŸ”° To be Perfect in DSA (leetcode)

πŸ”° Capable to contribute for the open-source community

The best moment for me this year was to see the happiness in eyes of my parents when I get a good rank in the UKSEE exam and when they saw a picture of the NCC 80 UK Batallion in Pithoragarh. The hard work that they do for me always gives me another level of energy and motivation, hope I will achieve my highlighted goals of 2023 which brings smiles to their face.
